Apple sent out invitations yesterday for their anticipated spring event, “Let Loose,” which will take place on May 7. As Apple’s first event of 2024, it promises to be the platform for major announcements, including the new iPad Pro and iPad Air, maybe additional information about the Vision Pro, and more than one surprise.

The Apple announcement season for 2024 officially begins with “Let Loose,” scheduled on May 7 at 07:00 a.m. (Pacific Time). With less than two weeks until its celebration, expectation builds for the advancements that the Apple business has planned, particularly after hearing rumours of multiple launches.

Always waiting for a particular confirmation from Apple, this event appears to be setting the stage for the introduction of new iPad Pro models. These iPad Pros will be available in new sizes, with OLED panels, the M3 chip inside, and accessories including a redesigned Magic Keyboard and a more versatile Apple Pencil. We can also expect new iPad Air versions with new screen sizes and internal enhancements. Furthermore, there is anticipation that the MacBook Air will be updated with the M3 CPU, which promises faster performance and improved graphic rendering.

The potential that Apple would unveil a new iPhone colour during this event has not gone ignored. A custom that is already establishing itself, resulting in new shades in the middle of the annual cycle of these devices.

With a virtual format in which, as always, we will witness the splendour of Apple Park, this event will mark the start of the 2024 novelties and set the tone for our next meeting with Apple, WWDC 24 in June. In the meantime, and without getting ahead of ourselves, let’s put the day on the calendar, for surprises are coming.
