As Apple Music customers, we can share our favorite songs, albums, and playlists with friends who also use the streaming service. The Apple Music app is a convenient resource for discovering new music that we can access via the Music app on our iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
It’s crucial to realize that we do not own the music despite paying a monthly membership. So, when we say “sharing,” we mean giving a link that allows the recipient to access the desired song, album, or playlist readily.
To transmit these URLs from our iPhone, iPad, or Mac, follow these steps:
- Open the Music app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
- Look for the song, album, or playlist we wish to send.
- Tap the three-dot button in the upper right corner to view a playlist or album and the three-dot button to the right of any song to listen to an individual track.
- Select Share Song/Album/Playlist.
You can choose how to send the link to the other person. It can be done through Messages, Mail, AirDrop, and other messaging apps.
We can also tap Copy and then paste it where we wish. That is it.
When the receiver receives and opens the link, they will be sent directly to the Music app on their device, where they will see the content we supplied. They can then listen to it or save it to their library.
Sharing music has never been easier. As Apple Music subscribers, we can access additional content by interacting with our friends and family through music. With these simple steps, like in Apple Music Classical, we can discover new music and share songs, albums, or playlists with anyone we want.
